Realyser - A program to noramlise QPCR data ------------------------------------------- Realyser is a program to aid in the normalisation of QPCR data. It uses the GNorm method to select an optimal set of control genes from a panel and then uses these controls to normalise the remaining genes. It provides an input tool for ABI QPCR data and can export into a standard tab delimited format. Realyser is a cross-platform application, written in java. In theory it should run on any platform which has a suitable java runtime environment. Having said that we've only tested in on Windows, MacOSX 10.4 and Linux running the Sun v1.5 JRE. Please let us know what happened if you try running it on other platforms / JREs. Realyser is packaged as a jar file. In most cases all you need to do to run it is to double click the file and it should launch. If you have any comments about Realyser we would like to hear them. You can either enter them in our bug tracking system at: http://www.bioinformatics.bbsrc.ac.uk/bugzilla/ ..or send them directly to simon.andrews@bbsrc.ac.uk.
